Welcome to Cool Shade of Life. It may be a small Thai church, but God’s Word is taught in this place regularly and as a result people in the neighborhood are learning more about Him and His plan for their lives.
Here we are, on the brink of opening the doors to The IGo English Centre! I sat across the street on my motorbike today and smiled at the sign sporting this heading, hung in front of The English Centre.
In the past year, the IGo English Centre has continued to develop into an exciting ministry of building relationships, teaching, and sharing the love of Christ with our students, children and adults, most of whom are from IGo’s neighborhood.
Teaching English. Those two words intimidated me! When I found out that I would be helping out at the IEC for ministry nights during my first semester at IGo, I wondered what in the world God was thinking!
Collier Berkshire always said, “God has not blessed us because we are good people, He has blessed us so that we can bless others.” One of our MANY blessings is the gift of the English language. God gave us this gift so that we could bless others.
