Ministry trips give students the chance to travel to various parts of Asia and experience life and ministry in a brand-new cultural setting. This travel and experience gives a whole new perspective on almost every aspect of life. IGo is confident that experiencing new cultures will give students opportunites to re-evaluate their values and priorities in relation to time and money. Students will meet many new people and be able to observe their way of life. Each trip presents a different set of challenges that serve to open a student's heart to see new perspectives of God, the world, and his or her own life.
A student will participate in three separate ministry trips during each semester attended. Each trip's duration is approximately 10 - 12 days. Past trips included places like Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, and India. Activities on trips will include things like English teaching, sharing personal testimonies, sight-seeing, work projects, relationship building, etc. Specific activities on each trip will vary greatly due to countless unknown variables. It is IGo's hope that each trip, with its unique set of circumstances, will be used of God to have divinely-appointed personal impact in each participant’s heart.
It is also IGo's hope that God will use these trips to impact the student’s personal vision for ministry. The work in Asia is endless in human eyes, but God uses one person at a time to impact the world for His ultimate glory! Be prepared to have your heart touched with lasting change in building the kingdom of God!
